So earlier this spring, I talked about my Blueberry bushes, and how they have been pollinated by bees... Well, they have berries now! They aren't fully grown yet, but they are very close. The base of the flower basically swells and becomes the berry, I have learned. I'll be monitoring these berries to make sure they don't get eaten. I've also been watching the growth pattern of these bushes and noticed that a certain vine has been growing on and around the plant. I'm not sure what it is, but this year I finally took the time to pull all of it, or at least most, off. They're a strange bunch and they grow specifically around my Blueberries. I put mulch over so they don't grow again, but will be interested to know what these are... Stay tuned to watch them ripen! From personal experience, they ripen around August.
